Thin circle

Thin circle – a ceiling circle with an internal height of 100mm glued to a plasterboard plywood board, which has an LED nose on the outer edge. Together with the light installation, it gives the ceiling a unique look. The dimensions and technical specifications of the circle are made according to the customer’s wishes

Features. The product has similar properties as drywall, except for the places that are machined and glued

Usage. The product is intended for use in rooms with a relative humidity of no more than 70%. The maximum installation temperature is 50°C. Normal room temperature is recommended for installation

Installation

⇒ The corresponding technical solutions have been provided by the construction project developer for installation on construction sites

⇒ It is recommended to install the product on a stone, frame, wood or plaster surface using a wooden or metal frame. If the shape of the product and the profile of the nearby surface allow it, the product can be properly attached to it

⇒ Due to its size, it is recommended to attach the product from all corners in a way that withstands exposure to external influences

Fixing. In thinner areas of the product (e.g. glued surfaces and gaps caused by sawing and milling), it is recommended to use adhesive foam or adhesive sealant instead of screw connections. The requirements for screwing the product are described in the plasterboard installation instructions.

Dimensions. The diameter of one ceiling circle shown in the pictures is 1.3m. The diameter of the circle is unlimited – in the case of a circle over 1.3m, the product consists of several parts. The transportability of the product and its parts to the installation site must be taken into account

Finishing. Similar to finishing drywall

Storage. Products must be stored upright and on a smooth surface. Protect products from moisture and damage

Transport

⇒ The product must be transported properly supported and carefully – high tensile pressure can cause the glued surface to come loose

⇒ If there is a risk that the product will be damaged during transport, additional covers or additional fastenings must be used

⇒ It is recommended to transport long parts in pairs and with two hands

⇒ The internal support blocks and mounting tape of the details are removed (if necessary) immediately before installation

Thin circle, manufacturing information

⇒ The diameter of the ceiling niche and the division of the product into parts according to the external dimensions given by the customer

⇒ The larger plane of the ceiling hole in the picture is formed by a 1.2 x 1.2m plywood board, thickness 12mm

⇒ The dimensions of the bead on the outside of the product are made according to the dimensions of the light source (LED strip)

⇒ The walls of the circle are made of double-layered rolled plaster, between which is glued a painting fabric, wall thickness 26mm

⇒ PUR glue D4, 1-component, adheres well to the cut plaster edge

⇒ CNC-cut components and auxiliary parts to obtain the desired shape during gluing and transportation

⇒ Tape during gluing and transportation of the product for fixing components
