Mirrored circle for creating recesses with lighting. The internal height of the niche is 150mm, at the top of the niche there is a mirror arch made of model plaster – it evenly disperses the light. The circular ceiling niche is made of moisture-proof plaster, its surfaces are treated with a moisture-resistant coating. This allows the product to be used in damp rooms (shower room, etc.). The dimensions and technical specifications of the circle are made according to the customer’s wishes
Properties. The constructive part has similar properties to plasterboard, except for places that are machined and glued. The model plaster part has similar properties to plasterboard. Easy to finish. Calcium sulfate (CaSO4) content: > 50%, grain size less than 0.2 mm
Usage. The product is intended for use in rooms with a relative humidity of more than 70%, but not more than 85% and not more than 10 hours per day. Normal room temperature is recommended for installation
Installation
⇒ The corresponding technical solutions have been provided by the construction project developer for installation on construction sites
⇒ It is recommended to install the product on a stone, frame, wood or plaster surface using a wooden or metal frame. If the shape of the product and the profile of the nearby surface allow it, the product can be properly attached to it
⇒ Due to its size, it is recommended to attach the product from all corners in a way that withstands exposure to external influences
⇒ It is recommended to use a sealant to connect the products together, with which both halves of the product are connected and the surfaces are cleaned in such a way that cracks do not form over the joints after finishing
Fixing. In thinner areas of the product (e.g. glued surfaces and gaps related to sawing and milling), it is recommended to use adhesive foam or adhesive sealant instead of a screw connection. The requirements for screwing the product are described in the plasterboard installation instructions. The product is attached to the frame at two levels: both from the lower and upper surfaces
Filling the joints. For the treatment of gypsum surfaces, it is recommended to use either mortar made of gypsum powder or fine putty. Gypsum mortar hardens quickly and is easy to sand
Finishing. Similar to finishing drywall
Storage. Products must be stored upright and on a smooth surface. Protect products from moisture and damage
Transport
⇒ The product must be transported properly supported and carefully – high tensile pressure can cause the glued surface to come loose
⇒ If there is a risk that the product will be damaged during transport, additional covers or additional fastenings must be used
⇒ It is recommended to transport long parts in pairs and with two hands
⇒ The internal support blocks and mounting tape of the details are removed (if necessary) immediately before installation
Dimensions. The diameter of one ceiling hole shown in the pictures is 1.8m. The diameter of the hole is unlimited – for more than 1.3m, the product consists of several parts, the hole in the picture consists of two semi-circles. The transportability of the product and its parts to the installation site must be taken into account
Mirror hole Ø1.8m, manufacturing information
⇒ The diameter of the ceiling niche and the division of the product into parts according to the external dimensions given by the customer
⇒ The larger plane of the ceiling circle in the picture is formed by a 1.2 x 2.4m gypsum board with a Ø1.8m opening
⇒ Gypsum support elements are used inside the product to strengthen the glued arch surfaces
⇒ The walls of the circle are made of double rolled gypsum, between which a painting fabric is glued, thickness 26mm
⇒ Inside the circle is a model gypsum profile, shape according to the photos or the customer’s request
⇒ If necessary, we reinforce the model plaster part of the product with gauze, natural strong cord (jute, linen, etc.)
⇒ PUR glue D4, 1-component, adheres well to the cut plaster edge
⇒ CNC-cut components and auxiliary parts to obtain the desired shape during gluing and transportation
⇒ Tape during gluing and transportation of the product for fixing components
⇒ The production process from drawing plasterboards to the end of drying is 1-3 weeks depending on the intensity of drying
