Vault, sound diffuser

Vault, a sound-diffusing ceiling element, is a ceiling module with a wavy profile for a modular work cabin. The curved vault surfaces reflect sounds in different directions and dampen the echo spreading in the room and disperse the light in the room. Together with sound-absorbing wall panels, the acoustics of the workshop are excellent. The vault also gives the room a unique look. Product dimensions and material selection according to wishes

Properties. The product disperses noise in the room, as the surfaces of the element reflect sound waves in different directions, and is also visually attractive. Together with sound-absorbing panels, the sound in the room is better insulated

Usage. The product is intended for use in rooms with a normal relative humidity level – permanently no higher than 60%. Normal room temperature is recommended for installation

Installation and fastening

⇒ The product is lightweight, with support edges on its edges – the panel can be placed between the wall module and the ceiling structure, close to each other

⇒ It is recommended to glue a regular door seal between the edges of the product and the modular wall

⇒ The product is not fixed with screws, the ceiling element is not designed to bear heavy loads. Installation and removal of elements is convenient

Cutting. The product must not be cut – its dimensions exactly correspond to the size of the work cabin

Sound insulation. A good result is achieved if the acoustic wall and ceiling cover at least two full surfaces of the room by 80% (for example, one wall surface and one ceiling surface)

Storage. Products should be stored upright and on a smooth surface. Protect products from moisture

Transport

⇒ The product must be carried with proper support and care – high tensile pressure can damage the panel.

⇒ If there is a risk that the product will be damaged during transport, additional covers or additional fastenings must be used

⇒ It is recommended to transport long parts in pairs and with two hands

⇒ The packaging and fastening tape are removed immediately before installation

Dimensions. The dimensions of the product in the pictures are 1 x 0.4m. The maximum width of the elements can be up to 0.8m

⇒ Size and quantity of the product made of ordinary plaster according to the external dimensions given by the customer

⇒ PUR glue D4, 1-component, adheres well to the cut plaster edge, the customer can opt out of gluing

⇒ CNC-cut ribs to maintain the shape of the product during gluing and transportation

⇒ Tape to fix the shape of the product during gluing and transportation (if necessary)
