Hidden door – concealed door in plasterboard wall

A hidden – concealed door in a plaster wall is a door made of the same material as the smooth wall, with a 45° beveled edge on the top and right. Wooden material is added to attach the hinges and lock. Made of 12.5mm regular plasterboard and 50mm glass wool, the module is quickly installed in places where a wall frame is not used and some heat and sound insulation is required. Properties. The product insulates sound and heat, properties corresponding to plasterboard

Usage. The board is intended for use in rooms with a relative humidity of no more than 70%. Maximum application temperature is 50°C

Color. According to the customer’s wishes, it can be replaced with a different coating

Installation and fastening

⇒ The product retains its shape thanks to the way the drywall is treated and the adhesive used in the product

⇒ The product can be attached to the frame or nearby surfaces

⇒ For the installation of a hidden door, door hinges intended for this purpose are required, with a wide gap in the open position

Cutting. The product can be cut to size, but this should be avoided if necessary, as the plasterboard cardboard or ribs in the structure do not match the cut result

⇒ Cut straight through the product with the tool of your choice

⇒ A jigsaw, jigsaw, hand saw, panel saw are suitable tools

Storage. Products should be stored upright and on a smooth surface. Protect products from moisture.

Transport

⇒ The product must be carried with proper support and care – excessive pressure can damage the panel.

⇒ If there is a risk that the product will be damaged during transport, additional covers or additional fastenings must be used

⇒ It is recommended to transport long parts in pairs and with two hands

⇒ The packaging and fastening tape are removed immediately before installation

Dimensions. The dimensions of the product in the pictures are 1.2m x 0.5m. The maximum length of the elements can be up to 3.0m.
