Hard gypsum board Norgips Hard is a 12.5mm thick gypsum board with reinforced physical properties for the construction of lightweight structures. Both sides of the core of the fiberglass-reinforced (extra-hard) gypsum board and the longitudinal edges with a painted edge are covered with brown cardboard
Usage
⇒ The board is intended for use in walls that receive greater mechanical stress
⇒ For example: public buildings, transport areas, workshops, sports hall rooms, etc
⇒ The maximum application temperature is 50°C
⇒ Thanks to the profiled edge, the use of joint fillers and tapes, a maximum durable connection can be created
Drywall board dimensions. Width 1200mm, length 3000mm. Thickness 12.5mm
Color. Both sides of the core of the plasterboard and the longitudinal edges are covered with brown cardboard
Gypsum board with increased strength. Gypsum board is intended for special use where greater strength and greater surface hardness are required
Sound insulation. Due to its large weight, the product has better properties that improve the sound insulation of the board
Cutting. It is easy to cut plasterboard to size
⇒ Cut the paper surface in a straight line on one side with a construction knife
⇒ Break the plasterboard along the long cutting line
⇒ Cut the paper surface on the other side
Storage: The boards should be stored on a smooth surface, preferably on a pallet. Protect the boards from moisture
Transport on the construction site. The boards must be carried so that the cut edge is vertical
Edge. The longer edge of the plasterboard is thinned and covered with cardboard, and the shorter edge is cut straight
Quantity on a pallet: 60 gypsum boards, with a total area of 216.0 m², total weight of hard plaster pallet 2441 kg
Norgips Hard plasterboard, data:
⇒ Specific gravity 11.3 kg/m²
⇒ Area 1.2 x 3.0m =3.6 m²
⇒ Weight approx. 40.7 kg
⇒ Density of gypsum core ≥900 kg/m3
⇒ Calculated sound insulation on the 1st layer +14.5dB
⇒ Calculated sound insulation on the 2nd layer +5dB
⇒ Calculated fire resistance +5 min
