Hydroblock DH100-1.2 – water-repellent, strong gypsum block with a mirror-smooth surface for the construction of non-load-bearing wet room partitions, such as home kitchens and bathrooms. Using water-repellent blocks, construction activities are not dependent on the weather – for example, interior finishing can be started before the building’s exterior is closed – saves construction time. Grooves on the edges of the block facilitate construction, strengthen the wall and increase fire and sound resistance. Gypsum blocks do not require plastering – there is no additional need to level surfaces and block sound. Wall installation is simple, does not contain unnecessary complications. Installations from the blocks are hung on the wall with commercially available dowels. Multigips’ thin (100mm thick!) wall provides significant additional income from a larger floor area compared to other wall systems – higher sales or rental income. Sale of gypsum wall blocks – in full pallets, one pallet contains 24 gypsum blocks (6 m²)
Usage:
⇒ Construction of non-load-bearing partitions, for building walls with fire resistance class EI 240, very good soundproofing
⇒ No plastering required
⇒ No need to make internal supports and recesses, no need to additionally install crossbeams for heavy loads
⇒ Suitable for rooms with normal humidity, workrooms and bedrooms, as well as kitchens and bathrooms
Consumption of construction material. Based on the manufacturer’s long-term experience in building a conventional wall. Quantity according to FTL full load (max. 33 pallets, up to 24 tons)
⇒ Wall to be built 180 m²
⇒ Quantity of D100/DH100 gypsum blocks: 30 pallets, 720 blocks
⇒ Gypsum adhesive SuperWeiss 200 25kg: 14 bags, 350kg
⇒ Joint filler FG 70 25kg: 14 bags, 350kg
⇒ Joint tape AkustikPro 120-3 25m/roll: 3 bags, 12 rolls, 300m
⇒ Installation speed: 22m² / builder / day. 88 blocks per day
Gypsum block size. Width 500mm, height 500mm. Thickness 100mm
Color. Blueish
Fire resistance and density. The density of the material ensures high fire resistance EI180. The material is denser than any gypsum board, the density of the product is comparable to 11 layers of 12.5mm hard gypsum. At the same time, the hydroblock is 35mm thinner in total
Water resistance. The composition of gypsum blocks contains water-repellent components, which is why the properties of the block do not change after processing (cuts, holes). The color of the product does not change either
Better durability. Gypsum blocks are solid non-load-bearing structural elements made of calcium sulfate and water. They are used to create space in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings. The walls are strong like masonry, but similar to dry construction, they are built only with filled joints
Transport on the construction site. Easy transport during installation. Transport of blocks on a wheeled base near the wall being built
Edge. Groove on two edges and a protruding edge on two
Quantity on pallet: 2 packs, 24 blocks per pallet, total area 6 m², total weight of the pallet approx. 750 kg
