Alabaster modelling gypsum gypsum powder in 25kg bags. Very finely ground gypsum binder, specially selected from white gypsum stone. Used for restoration, conservation, making cornices and gypsum details, for indoor use. The product is also suitable for demanding work: sculpture castings, applications in art, teaching and research. Alabaster gypsum accurately imitates shapes and details, has high surface hardness and compressive strength, easy to prepare – just pour clean water
Properties. Fine-grained allows you to achieve a smooth surface for the finished casting according to the model being imitated. High mechanical strength, low expansion, easy mixing
Use. Alabaster gypsum is successfully used for the manufacture of sculpture models and gypsum decorations, for the production of molds in industry. As a binder for the manufacture of gypsum-based putty mixtures
Preparation. The dry mixture should be poured evenly into a container containing a measured amount of clean water, in a proportion of 0.5-0.6 liters of water per 1 kg of gypsum powder. Sprinkle the material up to the water line and let it soak, do not mix. After soaking, mix by hand: briefly and intensively. Material that has started to set cannot be reused by adding water or mixing again. Mix the required amount of material as accurately as possible. Before mixing the next batch of material, thoroughly clean the container from residues of the set mixture, as they can shorten the setting time of the next mixture
Color. High degree of whiteness (color scale according to XYZ – Ry value ≥ 80)
Storage. Packages must be stored on a smooth surface, preferably on a pallet. Protect the packages from moisture. Shelf life 6 months from the date indicated on the package
Transport on the construction site. The packages must be carried in such a way that the surface of the package cannot be damaged and does not come into contact with sharp objects
Quantity on pallet: 40x 25kg bags, total pallet weight 1000 kg
